Doubt: A Parable is a gripping and morally complex drama set in a Bronx Catholic school in the 1960s. It centers on a power struggle between Sister Aloysius, a stern and uncompromising principal, and Father Flynn, a charismatic young priest. When Sister Aloysius begins to suspect that Father Flynn may have engaged in inappropriate behavior with a young African-American student, a battle of wills ensues, filled with doubt, accusation, and the weight of faith.
RUNNING TIME:: 90 minutes with no intermission.

CAST 1
Daniel Wood (Father Flynn) is delighted to return to SSR. Previous SSR roles include Heisenberg in Copenhagen and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing. Other favorite roles include; Athos in The Three Musketeers (GreenStage), the title role in Macbeth (Fern Shakespeare), Bob in Caught (SPT), and Max in Lend Me a Tenor (Centerstage). He has also performed with storied companies such as Seattle Shakespeare, Book-It Repertory, Sound Theatre Company, Theater Schmeater (RIP), Annex Theater and many, many more. Next up Daniel will be directing Much Ado About Nothing for GreenStage this summer.
Ingrid Sanai Buron (Sister Aloysius) is thrilled to be back on the SSR stage where she was last seen as Mrs. Reynolds in The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley and as Rose in Dancing at Lughnasa. Other favorite roles: Sorel in Death by Design (Phoenix), Agnes in Murder Inn (Driftwood), Lady Anabella in Ada and the Engine (Driftwood), Linda in Move Over Mrs. Markham (Phoenix), Mary in Unnecessary Farce (Driftwood). Shana Emile (Mrs. Muller) is thrilled to return to SSR where she was last seen as Marianne in the Revolutionists. Other credits include; Cora Hoover Hooper in Anyone Can Whistle! (Reboot), Little Mermaid in Disenchanted (WPP), Squeeze in Our Dear Dead Drug Lord (WET), and Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (Reboot). When she’s not on stage, you can find her harmonizing with Puget Sound Company, a lively 8-person a cappella group based in Seattle. Shana is endlessly grateful to her friends and family for their support of her theatrical pursuits. (she/her)

Jeremy Radick (Father Flynn) Fresh from sailing the seven seas in Treasure Island at Valley Center Stage, Jeremy is thrilled to be making his SSR debut. You’ve recently seen him on stage in the “Kenmore Quickies” festival (As If Theatre), in several productions with Drunken Owl Theatre, and in the Gregory and BroadwayWorld award-nominated production of The Plague Master General from Blue Hour Theatre. Jeremy would like to thank the amazing directors and cast, plus his incredible kiddos Axel and Bowie.
Lisa Viertel (Sister Aloysius) is making her SSR debut with Doubt. She has performed with SPT (Agatha - The Moors), Harlequin (Dotty - Noises Off, Sonia - Vanya Sonia Masha & Spike), Book It (Roger - The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, Susan - Broken For You), StrawShop (June - Minutes & Seconds, Sally - The Bells), Pony World Theater (Nell - What We Were) as well as with Annex Theater, ArtsWest, Sound Theater Co., Ashland New Plays Festival, Cafe Nordo, WET, Theater 22, 14/48 (Mazen Award winner) and many others. She dedicates this performance to Sister Bernadette and her beloved Little Bernie.
Ashley Rose Klimper (Sister James) is a Seattle based actor, performing arts instructor, director and friend. She is beyond delighted to complete a theater rite of passage; performing as a nun. Ashley studied musical theater at Circle in the Square Theater School in New York City. Some favorite past credits include Ride the Cyclone (Constance), Hairspray (Tracy), The Flick (Rose), and Island Song (Shoshanna). Thank you Alan. “I will raise my voice, I will be heard.” (she/her)
Keaisha Hunt (Mrs. Muller) is a screen actress making her theatrical debut. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she recently relocated to Redmond to further explore new creative opportunities. Keaisha began her training at the 1st Team Actors Studio and has since starred in several indie films, steadily becoming a sought-after leading lady. She continues to push boundaries with her work, most recently starring in “Don’t", a gripping tale of a 16 year old girl trying to adjust to her new life while her overprotective father struggles to keep her safe. With several projects set for release in 2025, Keaisha is now embracing the stage, eager to expand her craft in the world of theater.
MEET THE PRODUCITON TEAM
Doug Knoop (Director) is delighted to return to the director’s chair. At SSR, he has directed Dancing at Lughnasa and Outside Mullingar. Recent performance credits include; The Adam's Family and A Spirited Manor at Driftwood and Saint Joan at SSR. His other recent credits include Bessie in Casa Valentina for The Lesser Known Players, Bob in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert at BPA. In 2015 he played Mr. Rice in KTO's production of Molly Sweeney. Many thanks to both of these wonderful casts, SSR, and the irreplaceable Yvonne!
Yvonne Williams (Assistant Director) is a Seattle based actor, director, writer, and producer. Among the favorite shows she has directed are: Quickies Playwright’s Festivals As If Theatre Company (2022,2023), The 39 Steps Lamplight Productions, and Molly Sweeney KTO Productions. Yvonne is thrilled to be assistant directing at SSR for her first time. Many thanks to Mark, Jen, Doug, both casts, and the crew!
Tim Bartz (Stage Manager) graduated from Bellevue College, where he worked on over 30 productions as either a manager/director/tech, or actor. He attended many Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festivals during his time at BC, including competing in the KCACTF Olympics in which he won first place in 2012 and third place in 2024. Tim can be seen in Snowflake Lane during the holidays as Float Patrol Manager. Tim is honored to work on this production and hopes you enjoy the show!
