Micheal O'Hara (Don Quioxte) was last seen at SSR in "A Little Night Music" and is pleased to be welcomed back. Micheal is involved in all aspects of theater, including Board service, set design, directing and performing. He recently appeared in "Forbidden Broadway's Greatest Hits" at Lakewood Playhouse and also directed "Glass Menagerie" there which garnered Critics Choice for Best Play of Season 79. At Tacoma Little Theatre, he is proud to have directed "Smokey Joe's Café" and also to have appeared as Mr. Mayor in a sell out holiday musical "Seussical." Working with "Brother and BFF", Frank Kohel, is an added bonus in this production. The two have played opposite one another as long time friends in "The Story of My Life" and later as husband and "wife" in "Hairspray." With gratitude to Dick Hooper, the quintessential Quixote, who inspired him to pursue this role. Offstage, Micheal is the Owner/Operator of Glassworks in Gig Harbor and resides in Lakewood with the loves of his life, wife Sharry and Fur Boys, Bogart the Saint Bernard and Frasier, the Berner. It has been an honor to work alongside this Cast, Crew, Creative team and Chris… may we all continue to Dream the Impossible Dream.

Frank Kohel (Sancho) is excited to make his SecondStory Rep debut and to work again with Mr. O’Hara after their acclaimed runs of “The Story of My Life” and many years of friendship. Frank’s been seen at the Fifth Avenue, Seattle Opera, Bathhouse, Group Theatre, BLT, PSMT, Village Theatre, ArtsWest, Seattle Musical Theatre and Seattle Civic Light Opera. His work’s also been seen in Los Angeles & New York City, Disneyland, and on tours of North Asia & United States.

Michael Lacker (Padre) is happy to be a part of his 3rd show at SSR. You may have previously seen him here in Bye Bye Birdie (Ensemble) and The Last Starfighter (Marty/Lieutenant Parak). Other favorite past shows include Assassins, Spring Awakening, Into the Woods, and The Fantasticks. Michael would like to thank you all for supporting him in his acting endeavors, as it means so much. Enjoy the show!

Larry Albert (Governor/Innkeeper) This is Larry’s second go round in this role, the first was in 1976. Between then and now he has worked steadily as a Seattle area talent as a writer/producer/director and actor. He is best known as the voices of Harry Nile and Dr. John H. Watson on the syndicated dramatic radio series “The Adventures of Harry Nile” and “The Further Adventures of Sherlock Holmes”’respectively.

Steven Hochteil (Barber) Steven is a graduate from Fullerton College in California. You may have seen him recently as Lafou in SFFT "Beauty and the Beast". You can also catch him doing improv with both Split Second Improv and East Side Story. He would like to thank his family and friends for all their support. He would also like to thank his lovely wife for supporting every moment of his acting. He hopes that you all enjoy the show!

Dane Vance Creek (Pedro) Dane is happy to be making his debut at SSR. In addition to acting, he is also a solo artist, as well as the lead vocalist for the rock band Rain Light Fade. All the love in the world to Jen, Nyah, and Aislynne."

Karin Terry (Antonia) is over the moon to be in her first production with SSR. Recent credits include Joseph ... Dream Coat (Gad), The Who’s Tommy (Ensemble), Company (Amy), and Beauty and the Beast (Babette). Loves and Hugs to her sweet hubby, Nick. Up next: Sweeney Todd with Reboot!

Max Lopuszynski (Anselmo) has performed with Bainbridge Performing Arts, Burien Actors Theatre, Drama Dock, Last Leaf Productions, Seattle Musical Theatre, Seattle Opera, SecondStory Rep, and more! Previously at SSR: Freckleface Strawberry the Musical, The Last Starfighter, and Goodnight Moon. Up next: Miss Nelson is Missing (SSR), and Princess Ida (Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan). Marc Montague (Captain/Muleteer) is excited to be involved in this outstanding SSR production of Man of La Mancha. Marc recently completed a 25+ year career as a Special Agent in Federal Law Enforcement. After 26 years away from the lighted stage, Marc performed in the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Seattle production of Pirates of Penzance. He went on to appear in HMS Pinafore and Patience with Seattle G&S. He has also recently performed in Beauty & The Beast at SFFT and Bye Bye Birdie here at SSR. Marc would like to thank his wife Kimberly, his daughters Ashley & Anna and other friends and family for supporting his theatrical adventures.

Jaron Boggs (Muleteer) is delighted to be back at SSR and to be part of this wonderful team. Jaron was last seen here in a Christmas Carol. Jaron would like to thank his family for their constant support and hope you all enjoy the show.

Christina Masson Ronquillo (Fermina/Dance Feature) is returning to the SSR stage after most recently being seen as Rosie in "Bye Bye Birdie", and not-being-seen as the choreographer for "A Christmas Carol." She holds a BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography from WWU, and she performs, choreographs, and stage manages all over the greater-Seattle area. Favorite roles include: Ginger ("Zombie Prom"), Snoopy ("A Charlie Brown Christmas"), & Anna ("Spring Awakening"). Love as always to Dan & Cody!

Alexandria Mann (Portia/Dance Feature) I am excited to be a part of this production of Man of La Mancha. I have been dancing since the age of 3 and have always found joy in expressing myself through movement. Many thanks to my supportive family. Enjoy the show!

MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM (bios as provided)

Christopher Nardine (Director/Choreographer) Chris has been directing, choreographing, and performing for 48 years, starting at the University of Connecticut where he earned a BFA in Music and a BS in Music Education. Previous shows he has directed at SecondStory Rep are Chicago, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and A Little Night Music. Other favorites include Company (Sapphire Productions), Cabaret and 110 In the Shade (Seattle Musical Theater), Guys and Dolls (Tacoma Little Theater, Seattle Musical Theater), Hello, Dolly (Tacoma Little Theater), Pirates of Penzance (Seattle Gilbert and Sullivan) and Die Fledermaus, Daughter of the Regiment and The Merry Widow (Tacoma Opera, Seattle G&S). Chris studied dance at Harford Ballet Co., Pacific NW Ballet, Spectrum Dance, That’s Jazz and The Studio in Issaquah among others. He has taught jazz and tap dance as well as various workshops in musical theater and auditioning.

Jen Chenovick (Light Design) Jen's theatrical career began in 2002 when she was asked to assistant stage manage The Importance of Being Ernest right here at SSR. Following her passion for theater Jen moved to Hollywood in 2005 where she stage managed for The Blank Theatre including the oddly satisfying Lobster Alice starring Noah Wylie and Nicholas Brendon. While in California, she also worked with Syzygy Theatre Group and the World Premiere of Tender, Abi Morgan’s trenchant drama of the human hunger for connection. Jen moved back to Redmond in 2007 and jumped right back into her work with SSR. During her eighteen plus years at SSR Jen has worn many hats, from stage manager to production manager to managing director and now light design. Special thanks to my parents, they’re pretty cool.

Mark Chenovick (Set Design/Technical Director) has been designing, building, and painting sets since the mid-eighties. Having the fortune to begin his theatrical career under the tutelage of Don McLaughlin in his hometown of Helena Montana, Mark continued his training at the University of Washington where he was accepted into the Graduate Design Seminar his sophomore year. With subsequent degrees in Art History and Drama, Mark went on to serve as technical director/designer for multiple organizations including: Virginia Musical Theatre, Fort Peck Summer Theatre, the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Little Theater of the Rockies, and the Norfolk Governor’s School for the Arts. As Technical Director/Production Manager of the national tour of Anything Goes (starring Gloria Loring) Mark travelled around the United States and Canada realizing that there is no place quite as wonderful as the Pacific Northwest. Shortly after the turn of the millennium, and following a brief stint as a carpenter at The Studio Theatre in Washington D.C., he moved back to Seattle. Locally he has worked behind the scenes for the Village Theatre, Seattle Musical Theatre, Redwood Theatre, and, of course, SecondStory Repertory.


Mark Chenovick (Sound Design) I began my sound design journey splicing reel-to-reel tape together in the basement of the original Penthouse Theater on the University of Washington campus but it was my brief time in the MFA program at Utah State University, where I learned the joys of digital sound design, and subsequently, became hooked on sound design for life. Having provided composed and curated underscoring and soundscaping, original and sourced sound effects, and performance amplification services for multiple theaters across the US, I have felt the most at home at SSR. Mark Chenovick (Projection Design) has designed projections for over 100 shows in the last ten years. Prior to that he worked with CJS design, a website design and hosting company, developing custom websites for clients ranging from Draper Valley Farms to Seattle Film Group. He also co-created and ran the now defunct SeattleActor.com, a website focused on Seattle area theater, featuring audition listings, helpful articles, and show reviews. In addition to projections, Mark also designs all of the marketing materials you see at SSR including; posters, show graphics, and website. All my love to Jen. Enjoy the show!
