Carol Richmond (Clairee)
is thrilled to be back at
SecondStory! You may have
seen her here in Cabaret
(Fraulein Schneider), Kiss

Barefoot in the Park
(Mother). She has performed
at a number of other

Niki Flynn (M’Lynn)
is beyond thrilled to be
back at SSR and a part of
this cast! Steel Magnolias
has always been one of her
favorite shows, and she is
so grateful to be playing a
role of her dreams. Most
recently Niki appeared
in Crimes of the
Heart (Chick) at Woodinville
Repertory Theatre and The
Music Man (Mrs. Paroo) at
Kirkland Performance Center.
Niki would like to thank all
of her family and friends
for their unending support,
and Mark, Jen, and Buddy for
this opportunity. Enjoy the
show, y'all!
Jessica Baxter (Truvy)
is ecstatic to be making her
SecondStory Rep debut!
Jessica is originally a
Kansas City native; she
received a BFA in Theater
Performance from the
University of Central
Missouri and is an alumni of
the Stella Adler Art of
Acting Studio in Los
Angeles, CA. Her most recent
role was Rita in Prelude to
a Kiss at the Whidbey Island
Center for the Arts. Some of
her credits include Barbara
in August: Osage County,
Regina in Little Foxes, and
her pending project with
Play Your Part Seattle as
Jocasta in Oedipus the King.
She is very grateful to be a
part of a story she has
always wanted to tell, and
would like to thank her
incredible family for their
support.
Callie Turner (Shelby)
is overjoyed to return to
SecondStory Repertory
alongside this wonderful
group of kind artists.
Callie graduated with her BA
in Theater Performance at
Seattle Pacific University,
2017. She was most recently
seen in The Revolutionists
(Charlotte Corday) at
Bainbridge Performing Arts.
Other past credits include
Into the Woods (Bakers
Wife), Eurydice (Eurydice)
and Freckleface Strawberry
(Emily). Special love to
Mom, Miki, Syd, Clara,
Maggie & Sam - you are my

Miki Murray (Annelle) is
a woman of few words.

Buddy is looking forward
to playing “Mister
Bardolph” in Lettice and
Lovage with the Lesser
Known Players and begin
earning his MFA in Arts
Leadership at Seattle
University.

Sound Design for SSR’s
critically acclaimed
Kiss of the Spider
Woman, The Squolf has
been on a relentless
quest for tacos. C’est
la vie, c’est la Squolf!
Laurie Roberts McClain
(Costume Designer) is
delighted to be working once
again with the team at SSR.
She has designed more than
35 shows here and over 80
shows in her 15 years doing
this rewarding work. Her
work has also been seen at
Bellevue Youth Theatre and
Youth Theatre Northwest.
