Boeing Boeing
Written by Marc Camoletti
Translated by Beverley Cross and Francis Evans

Directed by Nikki Przasnyski

This 1960's French farce adapted for the English-speaking stage features self-styled Parisian lothario Bernard, who has Italian, German, and American fiancées, each a beautiful airline hostess with frequent "layovers." He keeps "one up, one down, and one pending" until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris, and Bernard's apartment, at the same time.

Melissa Dowell (Gretchen) is thrilled to make her SSR debut in Boeing Boeing, one of her all time favorite shows! Melissa's past Seattle credits include Hold Me, Touch Me in The Producers (SMT), DA Joyce Riley in Legally Blonde (TNP), and Nancy Drew in Nancy You (JCI). She also regularly performs improv around town with Tom's Dinner. She would like to thank Jordan for squeezing her shoulders and replacing the range hood over the stove.

Stephanie Maley Bull (Gloria) is excited to be back on the SecondStory stage. Previous shows include Fluffy Tale of Adventure (Squolfie), Company (Marta), Jekyll and Hyde (Emma), Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Oklahoma (Laurie), Fancy Nancy (Wanda), and Into the Woods (Cinderella). Born and raised in Texas, Stephanie received her Vocal Performance degree from Texas Lutheran University and is currently the Business Manager at Youth Theatre Northwest and a member of Magi Ensemble. Love to Ben and Baloo for their support.

Alyssa Maas (Gabriella) is thrilled be back at SSR! Past roles include Amneris in Aida (SMT), Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (SCC), Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde (RCT), Fraulein Kost in Cabaret (RCT), Meg in Little Women (SMT), and Svetlana in Chess (SSR). Thank you to friends and family on and off the stage! Amore a tutti voi!

Graham Arthur Blair (Robert) is thrilled to be making his SecondStory Rep debut alongside a cast and crew of such wonderful, talented people. He most recently appeared as Levi in Joseph and ... Dreamcoat at Seattle Musical Theatre. Past credits include Emmett in Legally Blonde with Twelfth Night Productions, as well as The Producers at Seattle Musical Theatre. When he’s not too busy juggling theater and work, he spends his time brewing beer in his garage, and singing until closing time at late-night karaoke bars. Up next: Reefer Madness at SecondStory Repertory

Kate Swenson (Berthe) is the Executive Education Director at Youth Theatre NW and a writer, director, actor, and designer working throughout the Seattle area. Most recently at SecondStory she directed The Last Starfighter, wrote A Fluffy Tale of Adventure with John Allman, directed Fancy Nancy, and appeared as Poppy in Noises Off! Oh, and last summer she had the sincere pleasure of officiating The Squolf nuptials on this very stage. As always, much love and gratitude to the ever-stalwart Monsieur Swenson.  Coming up: check out Kate's new website--www.pinkllamadrama.com- featuring her plays for young actors.

Lee Yang (Bernard) is very excited to be working with SecondStory Repertory. Previous credits include A New Improvised Musical (Jet City Improv), the weekly improvised open-mic Off The Top (Pocket Theater), and most recently as Biff in Death of a Salesman (Short Order Theatre). You can regularly find him performing improv at some bar. He thanks you for being a great audience.

Nikki Przasnyski (Director) is thrilled to be back in the Pacific Northwest, and making her SecondStory Rep debut, after a 6 year stint in New York City where she got her M.F.A in Directing at the New School in 2015. Nikki's work has been seen in Seattle at Live Girls! Theatre, Ghostlight Theatricals, and Youth Theatre Northwest, and in New York at The Lark, Littlefield and The Brick. She is also passionate about social justice and is in the process of forming an arts collective focused on highlighting the work and leadership of underrepresented artists.

Cassie Fitzgerald (Stage Manager) is thrilled to join the SecondStory family!  She has long admired the wonderful work that SecondStory does and is overjoyed to be a part of this production. She has recently worked at Studio East training for the performing arts, The Phoenix Theatre, The Fifth Avenue, Seattle Public Theatre, and Seattle Musical Theatre.  She loves working on comedies that brings joy and laughter to people. All my love to James.
