Brighton Beach Memoirs
Written by Neil Simon
Directed by Rick Wright
Dreaming of baseball and girls, Eugene must cope with the mundane existence of his family life in Brooklyn: formidable mother, overworked father, and his worldly older brother Stanley. Throw into the mix his widowed Aunt Blanche and her two young (but rapidly aging) daughters and you have a recipe for hilarity, served up Simon-style.

Elizabeth Shipman (Kate) I loved the theater world of Chicago. After moving to Redmond I had hoped to get involved here. And now after 14 years of herding monkeys (my 6 kids & 1 granddaughter) I am thrilled to be back on stage. I’d like to thank Michael, my husband for putting up with the circus that is our family life, The Monkeys for expecting me to take chances and start auditioning again, and friends that kept asking me “when not If” I would get back on stage. Enjoy.
