Public Classes

What does a class in the performing arts do for a child?

Location: All classes are taught at SecondStory Repertory's theatre in Redmond Town Center.

Registration: Please register at least one week before the sessions begin. Call 425/881-6777 to reserve space in a class. A student is enrolled once a $50 deposit is received per student, per class. You will receive written confirmation of enrollment along with an emergency consent form to be completed and sent in with the balance. Payment in full is required one week prior to the first session.

Discounts: 10% off a sibling registration for the same class.

Refunds: Refunds will be issued (less a $20 non-refundable registration fee) if a student is withdrawn more than seven days prior to the first session. If the withdrawal is made less than seven days prior, no refund will be made.

Cancellations: If a class does not fill, or if something unforeseen occurs, we reserve the right to cancel a class. We will notify you as early as possible, and a full refund will be made.

Payment: We accept cash, checks, and VISA or Master Card. To pay by credit card, please fill out your credit information on the registration form. Make checks payable to "SecondStory Repertory" and send them with your completed form to the address given on the form.

School Classes

SecondStory Repertory can provide drama and musical theatre programs for all ages. Email us or call 425/881-6777 today for details -please ask for Susanna. Classes may include:

  • Creative Drama (Pre-K to Grade 2)
  • Create a Character & Create a Story (Grades 2-3)
  • Improvisation (Grades 4-5)
  • Playwrighting and/or Shakespeare (Grades 5-6)
  • Improvisation & FUNdamentals of Acting or Shakespeare (for Middle Schools)
  • FUNdamentals of Acting, Shakespeare or Musical Theatre (for High Schools)

Pricing: 6-week classes - $75 per student; 8-week classes - $90 per student. Classes meet once a week for 1½- to 2 hours. Minimum of 8 students, maximum of 20. We are happy to negotiate pricing for more students; just give us a call.

Productions on Request: An artistic team will come to your school for after-school rehearsals of a musical production. Past productions have included:Tom Sawyer and the Whitewashed Fence, The Little Rascals, The Elves and the Shoemaker and The Emperor’s New Clothes, among others. If you have any themes or books you’d like us to adapt, we are open to requests. Pricing will be based on the number of students.
